What is Pilates?

Pilates is a method of exercise that uses controlled precise movements designed to strengthen and stretch without adding bulk. Pilates emphasizes posture and spinal alignment by focusing on the deep stabilizing muscles of the abdominals, hips, back and buttocks. Pilates conditions your entire body and promotes balance, flexibility and agility.
